An adjustable-height dining chair is a less common category, but the HG-1859-1 addresses a specific real-world need: dining tables of non-standard heights, bar-height kitchen counters with stools, or hospitality venues where seating needs to adapt to varied table surfaces.
The mixed upholstery — LAKE-120 fabric (RMB 33/m) on the back and Hi-Tech PU (RMB 18/m) on the seat — is a deliberate material choice. The seat uses PU because it resists food, liquid, and moisture more easily than fabric, while the back uses premium fabric for comfort and texture against the spine. Both materials are at the upper end of their respective categories.
The 320 mm chromed base and 55 mm castors with chrome ribs give the chair a polished, hospitality-grade appearance. The tilt mechanism with the original lock allows the seat to be locked flat or in a slightly forward-tilted position. The 100 mm chrome Class 3 gas lift provides 9.5 cm of height adjustment — covering a range relevant to both standard dining and higher counter seating.
At 11 kg net (13 kg gross), the chair is comparable in weight to standard executive office chairs of similar mechanism complexity.
Recommended for upscale dining rooms, hospitality venues, home dining setups with mixed-height surfaces, and kitchen islands where an adjustable-height upholstered seat is preferred over a fixed-height stool.
